That’s a massive kick in the teeth for the millions of women who’ve spent their working lives sacrificing so much. So Pregnant Then Screwed launched ‘Thanks for your service*’.

As you’ve probably guessed, the title is ironic because women are hugely devalued through the current UK pension system, and Pregnant Then Screwed wants to do something about it. Throughout their lives, women are more likely to take time out of paid work, work part-time or make career compromises to care for children and other family members. The financial impact of those choices accumulates invisibly until decades later, when they show up as a massively reduced pension. ‘Thanks for your service*’ sounds like recognition, but this isn’t a thank you, it’s a huge devaluation. This campaign ran across OOH, DOOH, Social & Print.
